A friend of mine put me on to Emma Hack via this site. You will be amazed when you scroll down through here. The thing to know as you view? There’s a live human body hidden in the paint. These first images are from a series called petals.

These come from a series called Yoga:

And these come from a series called Oriental delights:

I am amazed. They are all breathtaking don’t you think? She’s done some wonderful work in advertizing too. Check out her websites and see what else she’s done as she’s also got some scupture and a number of other very whimsical work!

I think this work stands on its own without any words from me….

I ran across a blog with this lovely image of a girl floating in water, hair all drifty with the flows around her. Stunning. I loved it. Had to find out where it came from. I learned a few months later that it was Autumn Sonnichsen. What a yummy photographer! And really the perfect choice to break my image fast here.
Autumn has a knack for capturing an essential mood in her subject. Its full of the erotic obviously, as any nude is…but there’s something incredibly vulnerable and humanizing about these images that goes far beyond the usual visual interest that titillates…

Oh…and here’s a water image very like the one I fell for in the first place:

Recently I published a poem called One’s Kiss and I illustrated it with an image by Fameni. I really like this work. I happened across it on a blog somewhere and dropped a link into my book marks. I don’t know who’s blog it was now, but I am very glad to have discovered this work. Its hedonistic, naughty and full of wonderful color. Here’a few of my favorites which can be found at this site:
