I am feeling really lucky of late that people have been sending me links to art. Its been fun looking. I am not moving along fast enough to suit me about sharing them here either. It is a bit time consuming to choose images and arrange them in the post as well as wait for loading into one place or another. But its a labor of love that I’m enjoying.
Rosa sent me this link to Sharon Hudson. I love all the color in her work. I like the beauty she brings forward in figures and shapes that many would find not beautiful. She makes them sensual, erotic and splendid.
This one is called Waterbaby. I love the coquettish pose. *smiles*
Apparently, Sharon travels. This was painted with subjects from an African trip as inspiration. Its no surprise that this one is called Two Babboons. They look ready to leap out the page and yet the pose is relaxed and affectionate. It is an arresting effect to have the sense of motion and stillness in a work of art.

This one is unnamed. It is in a group of images called Realistic Images. She looks ready for a nap…and I guess that I liked this one, because she’s sexy, womanly. I wanted to take her hand and spread her out. I am shaped like her. The piece made me wonder if men feel that way when I sit like this.
Called the Alaskan Mountains and its obviously another from her travels. It is striking just on the merits of its contrast and shapes, never mind stepping back and seeing mountains in it and imagining the majesty and color that must be a part of that landscape.
I really like her portraits. She makes little effort to create a Mona Lisa. Instead, her portraits capture a mood of curves and color out of the human face and body. A moment caught in time. This one is regal, sad, even angry. It stands apart from the rest of the pieces on the same page. It is called Arabian Woman.
Mayan heads from blue stone. I picked these in particular because the texture of the stone pleases me. I like the way the light plays with the stone. Its muted and textured and it feels to me that the faces could be real because of that.
This Abstract In Space is part of a group of erotic Abstracts. I usually dislike abstract art. It is too chaotic for me. I have little tolerance for chaos, I enjoy watching it from afar, but I don’t want to interact with it. This is a rare piece that I’d enjoy on my wall. It reminds me of how my aura lights up sometimes in the middle of orgasm quite frankly…and how it plays with the colors of the aura of my Tantric partner. *grins*
